Sixteen Yemeni people were killed Sunday in clashes between Houthi militants, backed by forces loyal to former president Ali Saleh, and Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) members and pro-legitimacy Yemeni forces.

As many as 12 Houthis and Saleh forces along with four Yemeni forces were killed in the clashes and the air strikes carried out by Arab coalition aircraft in southern Damt district in Dhale governorate, military sources said.
