Seven police officers were killed and three injured Friday when their outpost came under attack from the Taliban in south-eastern Afghanistan, dpa quoted an official as saying.
The militants attacked early morning in a remote area of the Deh Yak district in Ghazni province, said Shafiq Nang Safi, the provincial spokesman.
'The exchange of fire lasted about an hour,' Safi said, adding that four attackers were also killed and three injured.
