A roadside bomb hit a police vehicle Monday, killing threepeople and injuring four others in western Afghanistan.The police were patrolling in Shindand district earlier today when a roadside bombstruck the vehicle. A statement from Afghani police said today that the injured weretaken to the hospital are in a stable condition. Elsewhere in Afghanistan, an explosive-laden vehicle exploded today in the Southernprovince of Kandahar. The explosion targeted a coalition forces’ convoy. No soldierswere killed or injured, except for the driver who happened to also detonate thebomb.
