An Italian soldier was killed and two others were injured Monday in a blast at a training camp for Afghan police in Adraskan western Afghanistan, Italian military sources have announced. According to a statement by Italy's Defense Ministry, the explosion hit "an observation hut near a shooting range," hitting the soldiers which worked as a special training force for Afghan police, namely the Police Specialty Training Team (PSTT). The blast area has been isolated while officials carry out an investigation into the explosion and casualties have been ambulanced to the US military hospital, the Ministry said.
