At least four civilians were killed following an explosion in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan.
According to local government officials, the incident took place late Wednesday in Khanshin district of Helmand province.
The provincial government media office also confirmed the incident and said a civilian vehicle struck with an improvised explosive device (IED) which left four people dead, according to (Khaama Press).
The source further added that the vehicle was on its to Khanshin district from Dishu when the incident took place.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
