A bomb explosion in Kabul kills four Afghani soldiers

Four persons were killed and 12 others sustained injuries in a bomb blast targeted at a bus of army personnel in the Afghan capital of Kabul on Tuesday.
"Four personnel of the national army were killed and 12 others including six civilians sustained injuries as a bomb blast targeted a bus of national army personnel in Chilston area, southwest of Kabul city today morning," The Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The statement, however, didn't provide more details.
Meantime, an official on the condition of anonymity said that the blast obviously was a roadside bomb which went off at around 07: 00 a.m. local time.
Taliban militants fighting the government to regain power have intensified activities, mostly in the shape of suicide and roadside bombings over the past couple of months.
