NATO forces Thursday killed an Afghan soldier as he tried to gun down international coalition troops in eastern Afghanistan. "The incident took place outside a coordination centre for Afghan and international forces in Laghman province," Charlie Stadt Lander, a coalition spokesman, told the German Press Agency dpa. No NATO soldiers were killed in the attack, he said, declining to say if anyone was wounded. "I can just say that the Afghan and NATO troops are now investigating the incident," he added.
