A suicide attack outside a market in the Eastern Paktia province killed Monday nine school pupils and one policeman, Afghan police said. The attacker was targeting a passing US military patrol. The bomber was on a motorbike and detonated his explosives at midday outside the market in Samkani district as the American forces passed, said Gen. Zelmia Oryakhail, the provincial police chief, RT reported. 15 other students were wounded, Oryakhail added.
