At least four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed and as many injured in a roadside bombing in the central capital Kabul of Afghanistan on Monday.
The Afghan Defense Ministry deputy spokesperson, Gen. Daulat Waziri, said in a statement the explosion took place early morning as an ANA armored vehicle struck a bomb in Musayee district.
He further said that the injured were evacuated to a hospital for treatment adding that their condition was stable.
There was no immediate claim of the responsibility. But Taliban rebels had targeted security officials and foreign troops in Afghanistan in the past. The attack came at a time when the multi-national troops are preparing to leave Afghanistan till the end of the year and hand over overall security to the ANA.
