37 Taliban insurgents were killed, 13 others wounded and 10arrested in joint operations carried out by Afghan forces and the InternationalSecurity Assistance Force (ISAF) during the last 24 hours in different parts ofAfghanistan.The Afghan Interior Ministry said in a statement today that the operations werecarried out in the provinces of Kunduz, Ghazni, Paktika, Helmand, Farah, Herat andKandahar adding that a quantity of heavy and light weapons were seized during theoperation.The ministry did not refer in its statement to any casualties in the ranks of thesecurity forces.
