A car bomb has gone off near the president’s residence in Mogadishu, Somalia, police said, partly destroying nearby hotels, according to Euro News.

“A suicide car bomb exploded outside the presidential palace. So far two hotels opposite the palace are partially destroyed,” Major Mohamed Ali, a police officer said.
