Tayseer Khaled, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, called on the United Nations Human Rights Council not to bow to the US threats and extortion and to publish the “black list” of all international companies operating or investing in settlements in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1967 , including East Jerusalem .

All companies, institutions, personalities, banks and sick funds that invest or make donations or assistance, whatever to Israeli settlers and institutions in the settlements should be known and responsible .

This came in light of the threat posed by the US administration by US Ambassador to the United Nations

Nicky Healy, who threatened to stop funding the UN Human Rights Council if the council published a “black list” of international companies operating in settlements in the territories occupied by Israel in 1967 in the West Bank, Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

He added that this position, expressed by the United States ambassador to the United Nations, was immoral and contravened international law and international legitimacy resolutions, as well as encouraging the Government of Israel to continue its settlement activities and encouraging settlers to continue their attacks on Palestinian land and property in the West Bank including East Jerusalem, and provides them not only protection but also support they need to steal and exploit Palestinian land and property and plunder their wealth at the expense of the deterioration of the standard of living of Palestinian citizens under occupation , in the Jordan Valley and other areas targeted by settlements and Judaization in the West Bank.

He stressed that the US administration and the Israeli government are working together to paralyze the international community’s will in the United Nations and declared campaign against boycotting, divestment and sanctions on Israel (BDS).

He called up all democratic forces and all peace, justice and equality forces at the official and civil levels to publish that list, which has become known to all, and exert all forms of pressure on governments in their countries to condemn this immoral policy by the United States ambassador to the United Nations and to support the boycott movement in different countries and different fields , so as the law of jungle not prevail on rules of international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy.
