A Palestinian girl was shot dead by Israeli troops as she was crossing a military Israeli checkpoint in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil or Hebron, her father said.

The father said his daughter, aged 18, was shot in the abdomen by a direct Israeli fire.

"She was shot after crossed the checkpoint," her father said.

He said her daughter was pronounced dead in the hospital.
