Palestinian demonstrators early Wednesday closed the entrance of the United Nations Office in Ramallah to protest the lack of support for Palestinian the hunger-strikers in the Israeli jails.

The protesters tried to prevent workers from entering the UN headquarters to denounce the world body’s silence over a mass hunger strike by Palestinian prisoners, as well as the failure of implementing its charter and laws to protect prisoners .

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and placards that criticized the international organization’s failure and bias in favor of Israel.
