Israeli occupation forces on Saturday opened machine gun fire at Palestinian fishermen off the coasts of northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources said the Israeli military gunboats randomly opened fire at fishing boats off Beit Lahia town coasts, forcing the fishermen to go back to the shores, with no injuries reported.

Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire on Palestinian fishermen and farmers since the ceasefire agreement signed Aug. 26, 2014 that ended a devastating 50-day Israeli military offensive against the Gaza Strip.
