Dozens of Palestinians were injured when Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated bullets and blasted water cannons at them while performing the Friday prayer near Al Sahera Gate in the Old City in Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Red Cross Society said that clashes are currently underway between Palestinians and the Israeli forces in the Old City. Suffocation cases were reported among Palestinians.
