Israeli Jerusalem municipality crews raided the occupied neighborhood of Silwan early Saturday and delivered a demolition notice to a home of a local Jerusalemite, a Palestinian source said.

A statement by the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan said that “Faraj Siam” received an order from the Israeli soldiers for demolishing his home, claiming it is built without a permit.

Last week, the statement added, the Jerusalem Municipality crews handed his son an order to demolish the house under the pretext of non-licensing.
