Israeli Naval Forces on Sunday morning have opened heavy machinegun fire at Palestinian fishing boats while sailing off Beit Lahiya’s coast in the northern Gaza strip.

No injuries were reported. However, such attacks have been reported on an almost daily basis by Palestinian farmers and fishermen in Gaza.

Such attacks violated the Egyptian brookered ceasefire which took place in August 2014.
