Palestinians in most territories occupied in 1948, Wednesday observe a general strike protesting the crime committed by the Israeli police in Kafr Qasim.

A statement by the Palestinian Follow-Up Committee said that the strike involved all aspects of life, shutting shops, businesses and institutions as well as other private and public facilities en masse protesting the crime.

The committee called all Palestinians to join the strike and take part in other escalation measures. It also called Friday prayer sermons to talk about the assassination of Mahmoud Mahmoud Taha in Kafr Qasim, the statement
