A military court in Gaza sentenced on Tuesday a Palestinian to death by hanging over collaboration with Israeli occupation troops.

The Gaza-based Ministry of Interior said on its website on Tuesday that the fugitive convict has been collaborating with the occupation since 2007.

The court also handed down a ruling sentencing the son of the convict to 15 years in prison over similar charges.

It said the convict and his son provided the occupation with information on men of resistance which helped Israeli troops kill a number of them.
