Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers, early Wednesday, stormed Jerusalem’s flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, according to Palestinian sources.

General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said that Israeli settlers stormed the Muslims holy shrine entering through the Bab Al-Magharbeh gate under heavy protection of Israeli special police.

In statements to Petra, Al-Khatib said the settlers provocatively toured the Al-Aqsa yards and performed their Talmudic rituals.
