Three Israelis attempted on Saturday to enter the al-Aqsa Mosque, according to a religious official in Jerusalem.Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib said the Israelis tried to invade the compound of the mosque after climbing the roofs of nearby buildings. Guards and worshipers caught them but one fled.Al-Khatib added that Israeli police arrested the two Israelis, aged 27 and 30, and after searching them found no dangerous objects.
