Some 16 Palestinian citizens early Tuesday were injured in clashes with Israeli occupation forces near the Bab Al-Asbat and Wadi al Jawz in the occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source said.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its medical crew transported six of the injured to the Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem, adding that the Israeli soldiers arrested an injured person near the al-Sawana neighborhood.
