The Opposition Parties Coordination Committee on Saturday staged a sit-in in front of Prime Ministry, coinciding with a near-by sit-in by Muslim Brotherhood. Participants delivered speeches in which they called for reform, fighting corruption, protecting demonstrators and allowing freedom of expression. On the other hand, a group of pro-government youth staged a demonstration near the 4th Circle, calling for preserving national security and pressing ahead with reform. Security forces managed to prevent the two sides from clashing with each others. The two sit-ins ended peacefully at around 7:30 pm local time.
