The Turkish military says 100 PKK members have been killed, while more than 80 others have been wounded during air and artillery strikes in northern Iraq Up to 100 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, have been killed in raids conducted by the Turkish military in northern Iraq since Wednesday, according to a statement released by the General Staff and quoted by Hurriyet Daily News. Turkey resumed a bombing campaign against the PKK last Wednesday after a lull of more than a year in response to a PKK attack that killed eight soldiers in southeastern Turkey, the daily added.
