Tunisia took part in the Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held on September 5-6 in Belgrade, on the celebration of its 50th anniversary. The Tunisian delegation was led by Foreign Minister Mohamed Mouldi Kéfi. Tunisia in its capacity as NAM's founding member, had participated in the first phase of the celebration of this anniversary organised in Bali, in Indonesia last May 25-27. On the sidelines of the meeting, the Foreign Minister was received by Serbia's President Boris Tadic, who voiced consideration to Tunisia for the positive development it has been recording since the start of the Revolution for Dignity and Freedom. The meeting was an occasion to review the reality of relations binding the two countries and the prospects to develop them in various fields. Besides, the Foreign Minister met with several attending opposite numbers and heads of delegations. The meetings turned on the scope of the celebration of NAM's creation and its objectives, and means that would reinforce and boost co-operation between Tunisia and various sisterly and friendly countries.
