The number of Syrian people fleeing violence at home and taking shelter in Turkey dropped to 6,973, an official statement said. A total of 9,409 Syrians have returned to their country so far, according to the statement released by the Turkish Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD). The Syrians are staying in six temporary tent sites set up by the Turkish Red Crescent in the towns of Altinozu, Yayladagi and Reyhanli and the Apaydin village of Turkey''s southern province of Hatay.
