San Salvador - Qna
The Government of Salvador on Thursday announced recognition of the Palestinian state on 1967 borders. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed hope to enhance bilateral ties with Salvador. Earlier this month, the Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad Al-Maliki has visited Salvador, where he urged senior officials to expedite the decision to recognize the State of Palestine. The 1967 borders include East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, lands occupied by Israel in the Six Day War.
