Election watchdogs on Sunday ordered a recount of votes cast in Singapore's presidential polls after the two leading candidates ended up with a difference of less than two percent. A political maverick, medical doctor Tan Cheng Bock, was running neck and neck against former deputy prime minister Tony Tan after Saturday's four-way contest for head of state.
