17 bodies have been unearthed near Tripoli in a compound used as a detention and torture center by the Gaddafi regime. Anti-Gaddafi forces have sent the half decomposed bodies to a nearby hospital to extract DNA samples, to verify their identity and allow them a proper burial. Several people rushed to the hospital in the hope of finding missing relatives. Rebels accuse Gaddafi\'s forces of using several compounds around Tripoli to detain and torture opposition activists.
