Gaza - Qna
Israeli occupation forces decided this morning to partially open Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing to let in dozens of trucks carrying aid and goods to Gaza Strip. Raid Fattouh, Chairman of the Coordination Committee in charge of goods entry into Gaza strip said the Israeli side informed them that it will let today the entry of between 290 to 300 trucks loaded with aid through the crossing in addition to commercial and agricultural goods. He explained that the trucks include 11 loaded with cement and 81 with gravel for projects of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), pointing out that limited quantities of cooking gas will also be pumped. The Israeli entity clamps a blockade on the Gaza for nearly five years, controls the quantity of goods entering the Strip and prevents the entry of raw materials needed for reconstruction.
