US President Barack Obama said that cooperation and friendship between his country and Saudi Arabia are found since decades.

The Gulf countries intensively cooperated with the US in fighting terrorism and combating Daesh terrorist group especially in Syria as well as Iraq.

These remarks came during the press conference held by Obama at end of the US-Gulf Cooperation Council Second Summit.

Obama further reiterated that there are new governments in Libya and Yemen which managed to create a peaceful political process.
