An Israeli military court Tuesday sentenced Hakim Awad, 18, from the village of Awarta, near Nablus, to five life terms after he was found guilty of killing five members of a Jewish family in the settlement of Itamar earlier this year. Hakim's accomplice in the attack, Amjad Awad, 19, is expected to receive a similar sentence in October. Both had confessed to their act soon after they were arrested.
