Terrorist attacks on the U.S. Embassy, as well as other buildings in the Afghan capital ended on Wednesday, leaving seven people dead and 17 wounded, an Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman said. Gunfire began close to the U.S. Embassy on Tuesday morning, coinciding with blasts from improvised explosive devices. The attackers fired rockets at the U.S. Embassy, ISAF commanders and at the building of Tolo TV. According to the police, six terrorists were killed. The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
