Jordan will join with the international efforts to help post-Qadhafi Libya build a modern state, a senior government official said on Wednesday. Speaking to The Jordan Times from Qatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh said Jordan has been part of the international efforts that put an end to the bloodshed in Libya and protecting innocent citizens. “We have always been part of the international efforts that contributed to the implementation of the United Nation’s resolutions via providing logistic support to NATO forces. We were one of the first countries to recognise the Libyan National Transitional Council with which we have been in close coordination,” Judeh said. Amman has also appointed a diplomatic representative at the council in Benghazi.
