Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh conferred here on Thursday with his Sri Lankan counterpart Gamini Lakshman Peiris who is now visiting Jordan on how best to further bolster bilateral ties as well as latest regional developments in the region and the Middle East peace process. In a press statement after the meeting, Judeh said that the two countries enjoy deep and strong relations, noting to the Sri Lankan workforce in Jordan. He added that the two countries’ governments and businessmen sector should communicate to develop mutual ties and address the challenges of the region, pointing that he briefed the Sri Lankan minister on Jordan''s political, social and economic reforms. Srilankan Minister Peiris said that the talks also dealt with the latest developments in his country as the Asian nation was able to halt the violence after twenty years of conflict.
