Director-General of the Canal France International (CFI), the French media development agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Etienne Fiatte, said his agency focuses on boosting cooperation with Jordan, which includes the largest number of projects to be implemented with any country of the region.

During a joint press conference with French ambassador in Amman, David Bertolotti, Fiatte said Jordan’s location and stability enable the training of media professionals from other countries such as Iraq and Yemen.

He highlighted the CFI’s projects in Jordan, indicating that the agency organized 150 training courses as part of an EU-funded program to support Jordanian media. The program is implemented by the UNESCO.
