Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a session of official talks with the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang in Beijing on Friday, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed pride regarding level of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, referring to the important economic transformations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China which offered great opportunities to enhance the strong links between them.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques lauded efforts exerted by the high-level joint committee between the two countries to strengthen and develop relations. "We hope that the strategic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China will contribute in strengthening international efforts to combat extremism and terrorism as a global threat and to achieve international peace and security," he said. "I look forward that these talks will enhance our relations, particularly in the economic fields," the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques concluded.
For his part, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China hailed bilateral relations between the two countries. He stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' visit s to China represents a giant push for the strategic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China
