Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF’s General Command today, a delegation from the US Congress, led by the Chairman of the Rules Committee at the US House of Representatives, Peter Sessions.
Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al-Jalahma, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were also present.
The commander-in-chief reviewed with the US delegation the Bahrain-US relations and joint coordination, lauding the long-standing relations between the two friendly countries and their peoples, which are growing steadily in all fields.
Director of the BDF General Command’s Court, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Inspector-General, Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, senior BDF officiers, the US Ambassador to Bahrain, William Roebuck, and the US Military Attaché to Bahrain, Colonel Steven Vincent, also attended.
