Kurt Campbell, U.S. assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, will visit South Korea next week as part of a regional trip, his department announced Friday, amid speculation that the allies are split over North Korea\'s request for food aid. “Assistant Secretary Campbell will arrive in Seoul on June 10 for meetings with senior ROK (South Korean) officials to discuss a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global affairs, including next steps on the Korean Peninsula,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner said.
