It's a known fact that eggs are a breakfast staple. Any morning meal without eggs could not even be considered breakfast in fact. There are many ways to cook it, across cultures - poached, boiled, sunny-side up and or in this case, scrambled. The meal keeps us energised throughout the day, and that being said, it has to be a heavy meal.
But one man in India decided to make the heaviest breakfast there is. Or should we say, the largest helping of scrambled egg ever cooked in India.
In a video shared by 9GAG on their Facebook page, a man cooked what is titled 'India's Largest Scrambled Egg.' The massive dish contains 36 onions, 2 kilos of butter and 32 chopped bell peppers. Now if you're asking 'where are the eggs?' then read on.
The video shows the man cooking up these vegetables and then proceeds to add 120 eggs in the mix. After cracking all 120 eggs one by one, he begins to whisk them into the veggies. But the video doesn't end there since he adds another 120 eggs into the mix, bringing the total to 240 eggs. The clip then shows part of the finish products and we have to say that the dish looks delicious.
Around the globe, the current record holder for the world's largest scrambled eggs belongs to Poland. It was made by Zaklad Pakowania Jaj Mering using 29,096 eggs which took 2 hours and 45 minutes to cook.
