A joint Bahraini-Russian taskforce in charge of aluminum industrial cooperation held its 4th meeting. Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs Osama Mohammed Al-Arayyed co-chaired the meeting with Russian Industry and Trade Deputy Minister Sergey Tsyb.

The two sides discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation in the vital aluminum industrial sector. They also signed memoranda of understanding to bolster cooperation in the fields of marketing and logistic coordination, in addition to investment opportunities in the private sector. The Bahraini and Russian officials have also agreed to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise and training and develop aluminum-related researches. .
