Bahrain has announced its recognition of the National Council Interim as legitimate representative of the brotherly Libyan people, expressing wishes to Libya to achieve prosperity, progress and stability, development and reconstruction. In a statement issued today by the Foreign Ministry, Bahrain affirmed that this recognition asserts the strong ties linking the Government of Bahrain and Libyan people .
