Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, attended the 12th GLOBSEC Bratislava Global Security Forum, which opened in the Slovak capital of Bratislava.
The Forum, one of the top conferences on global security in the world, assembled political and security leaders from across the world to discuss a wide range of strategic political and security issues.
While in Bratislava, Mohammed Al Bowardi met Robert Kalinak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Slovak Republic, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral defence and military cooperation. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and global issues of mutual concern as well as international efforts to counter terrorism and increase opportunities for world peace and stability.
Later, the UAE minister also met Slovak Defence Minister Peter Gajdos and discussed with him means of boosting military and defence cooperation between the two countries.
