Five people are due to appear before the French court on Thursday over the Bastille day attack in the southern French city of Nice.
The Procuratorate said the five suspects, four men and a woman aged between 22 and 40, were in connection with the Tunisian Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, 31, who ploughed a truck into the crowded promenade in Nice, killing 48 people.
They are also suspected of having provided a weapon, an automatic pistol with which Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel fired on police in the truck launched into the crowd.
