Muscat - Arabstoday
Royal Oman Police (ROP) Monday saved a Pakistani national from the clutches of three of his compatriots, who had kidnapped him from Dima town in the east. The kidnapped Pakistani expatriate had promised the three to get visas for 1,140 Omani riyals but after taking cash he ran away. The three alleged kidnappers captured the victim from Dima. They then tied and blindfolded the victim before taking him to Sumayil. “He was held captive in an under construction school by the three kidnappers,” a spokesperson for police said, adding that it appeared from blood stains at the kidnapped site that the three accused had tortured their victim.
