A series of violent incidents last night and this morning in Kirkuk, Anbar and Baghdad led to the killing of three persons and wounding of two others. Three members of Awakening Council were among them. Meanwhile, a local security official also escaped an assassination attempt this morning when an explosive device was targeted at his convoy, according to an official of Kirkuk Police.
