At least 11 people, including nine schoolchildren, died when an apparently overloaded ferry capsized in a river in southern China, reports said Saturday. There were 45 people, including two boat owners, aboard the vessel, which capsized and sank after it was blocked by some iron cables that are used for dredgers, sources told Chinese news agency (Xinhua). The deceased students were returning homes for the upcoming "Mid-Autumn Festival", a traditional Chinese holiday for family reunions that falls on Sept. 12. Police are further investigating into the cause of the accident. Rescuers are still searching for three missing and two owners of the boat
