A gun battle following a raid Thursday in Afghanistan\'s capital of Kabul resulted in the deaths of five would-be suicide bombers, police said. Police Chief Ayoub Salangi said Afghan intelligence forces killed the would-be suicide bombers and captured one terrorist, while several others escaped, CNN reported. Authorities also found suicide vests and an explosives-laden vehicle, police said. In another operation Thursday, Kabul police captured three insurgents who had planted roadside bombs, CNN said. Officials disposed of the devices by detonating them.
