An American missile attack has killed five suspected militants close to the Afghan border, Pakistani intelligence officials said on Monday. The attack took place in North Waziristan late on Sunday. It was the fourth in less than a week. The officials said five missiles hit a vehicle and a house in Makeene Kili village close to the town of Miran Shah. The compound came under attack for a second time after some 20 minutes, with US drones firing four more missiles. Drone strikes have become an increasingly contentious issue between Washington and Pakistan. Pakistan\'s parliament has demanded the US end all drone strikes on its territory.
